Apera is the term for sherry-style wines that originate outside of Spain. Amber in colour, with pruny, nutty, figgy and grapey aroma. Medium amber colour; aromas of dried pears, walnuts, herbs and fruit cake; sweet and creamy along with flavours of sugared plums.

The strawberry hints here come from berries grown on a farm across from the distillery, and they join other locally sourced ingredients such as gentian, bitter orange peel, sarsaparilla, vanilla and cinchona to create this rich, sweet, delicious vermouth.
