The strawberry hints here come from berries grown on a farm across from the distillery, and they join other locally sourced ingredients such as gentian, bitter orange peel, sarsaparilla, vanilla and cinchona to create this rich, sweet, delicious vermouth.

LBV is bottled ready to drink. An opaque red-purple colour leads to immediately appealing aromas and flavours of plum, milk chocolate, spices and blood orange. On the palate, it is sweet,  medium-bodied, rich and lush with rounded tannins and a long ripe and lingering finish. 

Graham's Late Bottled Vintage Port (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

The 2007 Croft Vintage has a soft, fig and date-scented bouquet that opens up beautifully in the glass, warm and inviting. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, supple tannin, a fine line of acidity and a ripe finish with dark cherries, boysenberry jam and a citric edge lending poise and delineation. There is a nice hint of fieriness on the finish that gives it a little hubris and brio, though not excessively, since that would not be in keeping with Croft's style. Score - 93.
