Formica Rossa - Sangiovese Italy - Organic vineyard and Sustainable Volcanic soil (1 x 750 ml)
(12.0% ABV) No added sulphites and unfiltered. Former engineer Sergio Bombetti and son Paulo tend to their family vineyard Colle Formica 40 km southeast of Rome near the town of Velletri. It’s all about the soil here which is, believe it or not, volcanic – thanks to a former lake that grew out of a former crater of a now very much extinct volcano on the same site. An incredibly unique terroir that is beautifully reflected in a small range of very thoughtful easy-drinking wines. This medium-bodied silky smooth red has been known to baffle some with its almost burgundy flavour profile. Each summer, we get just a small allocation of Formica Rossa from the vineyard and inevitably sell out before the autumn or winter arrives. Serve at room temperature or even lightly chilled on a hot day.

Valpolicella Classico - Italy (1 x 750 ml)
(14.0% ABV) Corvina, corvinone, rondinella, and molinaro. Sant’ambrogio Di Valpolicella (Verona) in the Gargagnago area, also known as “borgo dell’amarone”, that is one of the five historical communities of the Valpolicella Classica area. Harvested only by hand, in late September and early October. The grapes are then put to rest inboxes, for about twenty days, resulting in an improvement of the colour, the intensity of fragrance and an increase of alcohol content. Intense and ample, of cherry, flowers and some mild spice, like white pepper and almond. Enjoy this classic wine with appetizers, white or red meat dishes, or pasta.
